This Thanksgiving holiday was a special treat for our family. We had our first Swiss Hound come stay with us. His name is Fletch and when his mom brought him over she raved about how nice and cuddly he was. You never know until they stay without mom - well I am happy to report he IS! We just love this dog. Jason even let him sleep in our bed the first night. He slept with the kids on the couch the next few nights, at the foot of Maddy's feet. He"s about 50lbs of pure love and sweetness. The kids love him and me especially. I can't kiss him enough. He has the biggest ears that actually touch the ground when he sniffs the floor, they even get into his water and food bowls! We took him and our other guests outside to the yard today for some ball play and he was soo happy running his butt off! He tried to entice the other dogs to play and they did for a little bit but he had much more energy than them. He is definitely a dog we would be happy to have come back. Heres a picture of Maddy and Joseph lovin him up. And another of him pretty exhausted from playing in the yard.
We at www.cagelessboarding.com take care of pets in our home. If you love dogs and spend most of your time at home, join our pet host team. We usually take care of one or two dogs at the same time.

Chief Fletch
This Thanksgiving holiday was a special treat for our family. We had our first Swiss Hound come stay with us. Cao - (Kay-Oh)

Another first this holiday was our guest, the Portuguese Water Dog, Cao. She is cute, but she actually grew on me the more time she was with us. She was very warm and kind to the kids. She loved to cuddle up with them at night on the couch (where they sleep on nights off from school). Here is Maddy snuggling up her in the yard for a picture.
Moto - The Beagle Pig!
Moto stayed with us for about 2 weeks and we soon found out her avid love of FOOD! We had a couple other boarders at the time and if we ever left any other food out in the open for her, it was gone in a matter of seconds. We had never seen a dog eat that fast. She was the sweetest girl tho - very good with the kids and loved to lick us all. She had about a million tags on her collar so we always knew where she was.
Comi - La Bella
Following up on my previous posts about Mister Doobie. Here are some pictures of his big sister Comi. Shes about 12 yrs old and I am almost positive she is a Chow mix. A lot of times, chows can be territorial and kind of mean, but she has such a wonderful temperament. Mommy shaves her usually to keep the hair shedding at a minimum - it can become a task to clean up after a chow that is shedding. She is a really great guest, so well behaved and she really watches out for her baby brother Doobie. She's also a great guard dog, barking at every person that comes to the door. We looove Comi. She speaks Italian (well, her mom does so she understands it) and I get to practice the only words I know well - ciao, veni cua, que bella!, andiamo. LOL

Molly - The Sweetest Little Lady
Molly o Molly! This little Miniature Daschund was the most loved guest. Even Jason enjoyed her! Her owner went away for a week and just hated leaving her. I got a call a day to check on her baby - what love. She is so small and low to the ground, I was so suprised when she jumped on our couch. Molly slept with me and Jason all snuggled up to me like a baby :) We really hope to see her again.
Mister Doobie
He is the cutest little guy. He has such a scraggly face and coat, but walks like a prince - he is nicknamed The Distinguished Gentleman. I am not sure what breed he is, he was adopted from the Humane Society, already dubbed Mister Doobie. He has come to visit a few times with his big sister Comi, a chow mix. They are so great together, she is the best sister. She lets him come up and bite her face and tug at it, and she just plays. He loves to lay in one spot on our couch and has managed to make an indentation! Doobie reminds me of a Fraggle Rock character, just so adorable.
Blue - Annette's Regular Doggy Guest

Blue is a very energetic, silly Cocker Spaniel. He's a regular at our place, coming at least once a month. He is the sweetest guy ever, just a bit misunderstood :) He sleeps with Maddy in her bed and wakes her up with lots of wet kisses!!! We just love when Blue comes to visit because we know how much he likes us all here. Its so much fun when you have a guest actually excited to come stay with us!

Gracie - Luiza's pet guest

This is Gracie, she was a very special furry guest to us, her mom is stationed in Guantanamo Bay, when she traveled back to the States she needed a nice place to live her precious baby at, I'm glad she found me because Gracie is the most adorable pooch ever, as you can see we keep them very busy at our place ( nappy-nappy time ). Gracie we love and miss you so much.
